Alberta Brown Williams, 81, of Eudora, died Monday January 21, 2013.
She was born to the late Bill and Joanna Todd Brown on June 5, 1931 in Jennie, AR. She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Eudora. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of University of Arkansas A M & N at Pine Bluff and received a master degree at U of A at Fayetteville, AR. She was a retired school teacher of 32 years. She taught school at Eudora High School in Eudora and Dewitt High School in Dewitt, AR. She loved chemical formulas and word problem puzzles. Mrs. Williams loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years V.L. Williams and a son Harry Williams.
She is survived by three sons; Mike (June) Williams of Little Rock, AR, Glenn Williams of Eudora, AR, and Danny (Demetrice) Williams of Lawton, OK, four brothers Simon Brown, Samuel Brown, David Brown and Sylvester Brown, five sisters; Velma Carlton, Elma Lee Hudson, Daisy Appollo, Luether Henry, and Zelma Brown seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-7:30pm Friday at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in Eudora, AR and 12-1pm Saturday at the Ministers Institute in Eudora. Funeral Services will be at 1pm at the Ministers Institute with Burial at Mason Cemetery.
