On Saturday, March 30, 2013, Mrs. Homer (Birdie Mae) Beavers of Lake Village, AR, went to be with the Lord and Homer. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer, by her parents Patrick and Ethel Edwards Riley, and by seven siblings, Dave Riley, Oscie Bedford, Doug Riley, Dan Riley, Howard Riley, Oscar Riley and Jean Ginn.
She is survived by two daughters and one son, Jill Wrzesinski and husband Rudy, Lisa Vaughn and husband Larry, and Kevin Beavers and wife Debbie; eight grandchildren, Jeremy and Bryce Wrzesinski, Chris and Michael Vaughn, Caroline, Georgia, Jenna Mae and Parker Beavers; eight great-grandchildren.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Her passion was caring for and filling the needs of others. She enjoyed cooking and passing on those skills to her family and friends. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed following college sports. She will be missed by her family and friends, especially the members of her Sunday School Class at Lake Village Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, April 1, 2013, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in Lake Village, AR. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Lake Village Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Portland Cemetery
