Obituary for Kate Marvel Cingolani (Durham)

Kate Marvel Durham Cingolani, age 87, died May 4, 2013, at Southern Heritage Health and Rehab in McGehee. She was born November 30, 1925, in Lake Village, daughter of the late Charles Lee Durham and the late Alice Virginia Suitt Durham.
She attended Lake Village public schools. After moving to McGehee with her husband, she worked and raised four children. Kate never met a stranger and was a friend to all. She was a retired homemaker and a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Cingolani of McGehee and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons Charles (Myra) Cingolani of McGehee and James (Donna) Cingolani of Collins; daughters Virginia Fowler of McGehee and Mary Mabray of North Little Rock; sister Dickie Low of Wilmot; grandsons Randy Fowler of McGehee, Jacob Fowler (Mandy) of McGehee, Paul Cingolani of Selma, Nick Cingolani of Selma; granddaughters Tori Pless (Gary) of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Brooke Cingolani of Little Rock, and Sara Mabray of Bryant. She is also survived by great-grandsons Jake Fowler of McGehee, Devin Pless of Ft. Sill, Lyndon Foster of Ft. Sill, and Christian Lawson of Ft. Sill; great-granddaughters Jordan Fowler of McGehee, Sloane Fowler of McGehee, Delaina Cingolani of Poyen, Marley Cingolani of Poyen, and Harper Mabray of Bryant. She also is survived by a large group of beloved nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation services will be held Monday, May 6, 2013, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Services of McGehee, followed by the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, conducted by Father Theo Okpara at St. Mary's Catholic Church of McGehee, followed by burial at McGehee Cemetery. Pall-bearers will be Randy Fowler, Jacob Fowler, Paul Cingolani, Nick Cingolani, Ronnie Kersh, and Cliff Mabray. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Henry Wetzler, Frank Cingolani, George Cingolani, Chris Cingolani, Josh Cingolani, and Ronnie Cingolani. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Funeral arrangements are by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Services of McGehee.
