Michael Lee Scates 34, of Lake Village, AR passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at his residence in Lake Village, AR.
He enjoyed repairing and restoring furniture and cars, loved the outdoors, animals, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Scates was born on November 10, 1978 to Marriah Moore Scates and the late Thomas Scates in Greenville, MS.
He is survived by his wife of fifteen years Amanda Scates, his mother Marriah Scates Fowler, a son Latham Scates, a daughter Destiny Scates, a brother Ricky Watkins, his uncle Dave Moore and his aunt Shirley Rowe.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 2pm Friday, May 24, 2013 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in Lake Village with funeral service starting at 2pm Friday, May 24, 2013. Rev. Anthony Prestage will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, MS.
