Joshua Wade Benson, 40, of McGehee, AR, died Friday October 11, 2013.
Josh was born in Batesville, MS on February 23, 1973. He attended Montrose Academy where he graduated in 1991. He also graduated from University of Arkansas Monticello School of Technology. He was a welding instructor for South Ark College. He loved his family, especially his children. He loved to hunt and was a member of Tillar Baptist Church.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex and Ardell Sexton and Howard and Ethel Benson.
Survivors include his wife Tara Sanders Benson; son Christian Benson; daughter Caitlin Benson; an unborn child due in March 2014; parents Jerry and Linda Benson. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, October 14, 2014, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow at 4:00pm at Longtown Cemetery, Longtown, MS.
