Obituary for Freddie Dan Nagel

Freddie Dan Nagel, 78, of McGehee, AR died Monday, July 28, 2014. He was born in Halley, AR the son of the late Thomas and Alice Marie Clark Nagel. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in McGehee. Freddie worked for the U.S. Corps of Engineers for over 30 years before retiring. He loved to travel and fish.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Billie Heffington Nagel and son Bobby Blackburn. Survivors include his sons, Freddie Dan “Buddy” Nagel, Jr. and Jay Reynolds and his wife Rose all of Dennard, AR. Daughters, Judy Bodiford and her husband Greg of Monticello, AR and Kathy Barnes and her husband Bobby of McGehee, AR. 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, August 1, 2014 followed by a Rosary Service at 7pm at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee,AR Graveside services will be held at 10am Saturday, August 2, 2014 at McGehee cemetery.
