Obituary for Vada Loretta Fryar

Vada Loretta Kee Fryar, age 78, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Loretta was born in Paris, Arkansas on October 9, 1936 to the late Wilbur Kee and Eva Jean Hall Kee. She was one of twelve children.

Loretta was a Baptist, a retired homemaker and long-time caretaker for the late Judge Wallace. She loved gardening and was an avid walker, taking walks to the railroad depot almost every day to watch the trains pass by.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, and two beloved sons, Marvin Dewayne Fryar and Kenny Dean Fryar.

She is survived by four grandchildren-- Toni Fryar of McGehee, Tommy Fryar and his wife Amber of Monticello, Kevin Fryar of Monticello, and Amber Armstrong of Callion; great-grandchildren Kirkland, Keith, Blake, and Alexia; and daughters-in-law Diane Fryar and Susie Hackett Fryar.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5-7p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10a.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Burial will follow at McArthur Cemetery.
