Diane Clark Vogler, 70, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015. Diane was born in Lake Village, AR on January 11, 1945 to the late Stuart and Tompye Clark. She was a 1963 graduate of McGehee High School in Arkansas. Diane graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She spent 44 years in education working with children as a teacher and principal prior to her retirement. She remained a member of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association. Her commitment to education was apparent to all that knew her.
Diane was passionate about her work with the United Methodist Women for which she received many awards and recognitions. Diane served as Vice-president of the National United Methodist Women.
Diane’s family and friends were most important to her. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband the late Richard Vogler.
Survivors include daughters Amy Vogler of Flower Mound, TX and Jodi Vogler of Lewisville, TX; grandchildren, Jackson Vogler and Campbell Vogler.
A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, December 4, 2015 at First United Methodist Church, 6701 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116. Interment will be held at 11:00 am , Saturday, December 5, 2015 at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorial should be made to Flower Mound United Methodist Church Sanctuary Fund, 3950 Bruton Orand Blvd., Flower Mound, TX 75022.
