Obituary for Leroy Beasley

Leroy Beasley, 82, of Oak Grove, Louisiana passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016. He was born on March 6, 1934 in Greenville, MS to the late J.T. and Bertie Sledge Beasley. Leroy served in the United States Army and was a 32nd degree Mason. He enjoyed working in the yard. Leroy loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, AR.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Mae Beasley. Survivors include his daughters, Shanna Beasley of Gainesboro, TN and Lydia Jones and her husband Kevin of Tyler, TX; sons, George Morgan and his wife, Diann of Greenville, MS and James Ulmer of Nashville, TN; sister, Betty Brooks Beasley of Navarre Beach, FL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 1-2 pm on Friday, October 14 at First Baptist Church of Kilbourne, LA. Memorial services will follow at 2pm with Rev. Bernard Duchesne, Rev. Joseph Rucker, and Rev. Trent Allen officiating.
