Rudy Alan Wrzesinski, 71, of Lake Village, AR passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Rudy was born on October 29, 1945 in Montrose, Arkansas to the late Rudolph M. and Allene Woods Wrzesinski. He was a graduate of Lakeside High School in Lake Village. He served as a Gideon Speaker with the Delta Gideon Camp and was a long time member of the Lake Village Lions Club. Rudy formally worked for Farm Equipment/Chicot Implement, which is now Arkansas AG. After he retired, he owned and operated Cross Equipment Company. Rudy was an avid hunter and fisherman. Rudy never met a stranger and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Lake Village Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Jill Beavers Wrzesinski; sons, Jeremy (Christi) Wrzesinski of Lake Village, AR and Bryce Wrzesinski of Little Rock, AR; brothers, Robert “Vonnie” Thomason of Montrose, AR and Rodney “Hoss” (Dee) Thomason of White Hall, AR; granddaughters, Abby Elizabeth, Mary Emily, and Riley Allene Wrzesinski.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Lake Village Baptist Church in Lake Village, AR. Funeral Services will be at 11:00am Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Lake Village Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Chennault officiating. Burial will follow at Portland Cemetery in Portland, AR.
