Marion Paul Humphreys, Sr., 74, of Dermott, Arkansas died Monday, January 23, 2017. He was born October 30, 1942 in Dermott, AR to the late Zack and Bertha Franklin Humphreys. He was a lifelong resident of Dermott, AR and he worked as a mechanic. He loved to hunt and fish and formerly was the caretaker at Ozark Hunting Club.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by sons Paul Humphreys, Gene Humphreys and Jeffrey Humphreys; sister Linda Sue McCauley; brother Edward Grimes.
Survivors include his son Mike Humphreys and his wife Becky of Portland, AR; daughter Alicia Bray and her husband Billy of Monticello, AR; brother James Humphreys of Georgia; sisters Maureen Stevens of Oceola, Indiana, Frances Tucker of Lake Charles, LA and Mary Ellen Etheridge of Dermott, AR. Grandchildren Tray Humphreys, Tara Humphreys, Cristan Kelley and Chase Bray.
Visitation will be 6-7pm Thursday January 26, 2017 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
