Obituary for Beatrice Morrison Fullmore

On Monday, July 17, 2017 God opened the Book of Life, looked upon the name of Beatrice Morrison Fullmore, and called her home, where she would be free of all pain. Beatrice was born May 6, 1932, to the late James Morrison and the late Etta Baker. She was the second of three children, her sisters Octavie Carbage and Bobbie Esalene Broadway preceded her in death. She received her spiritual birth in August 1943 in Boydell, AR at Shady Grove, under the leadership of Rev. Harper. After the family moved to Dermott she united with Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E.J. Shead. Her earliest education was at Boydell Elementary. She later attended Chicot County Training School. Beatrice united in Holy matrimony to the late James Fullmore. After many years of living in CA, Beatrice returned to Arkansas to be close to her family. Beatrice held many positions during her life. Her last employment was with Fred’s Dollar Store in Dermott, AR. She was a hard worker but always with a smile and class. Even after the loss of her sight she could quote chapter and verse from the Bible. Sister Fullmore was a faithful member of Calvary #1 Missionary Baptist Church. She worked as a Sunday School instructor, member of the senior Choir, President of Mission Ministry and Chairperson of the dining room. Sister Fullmore was a regular attendee of Sunday school and church, never allowing her blindness to be an excuse. Before her sister passed, Sister Fullmore attended the Southeast singing convention and the Southeast AR. Congress. Mother Fullmore departed this life on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village, AR. She leaves to cherish her memories three very special cousins: Bobbie Neal (Earnest), Juanita Walton of Dermott, AR and Sylvia Bartlett of Wilmar, AR. Beatrice is also survived by ten nephews and two nieces: one brother-in-law Clayborn Broadway of Little Rock, AR and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her warm smile, soft touch and words to live by! Services for Beatrice will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11 A.M. at the Calvary #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Dermott, AR. There will be a visitation from 10 A.M. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Titos Williams, Don Carbage, John Carbage, W. Daral Carbage, Everett Broadway and Michael Carbage. Honorary pallbearers are deacons of Calvary #1 Missionary Baptist Church. The family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to our church family, friends, co-workers and to all who showed kindness during our time of sorrow. For every prayer, thought, hug, card, flowers, e-mail or any other form of condolence, we simply say “Thank You” Your expressions of love will always be in our hearts. Burial will be in the Strickland Memorial Gardens under the direction of Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service.
