Jordan Anthony Robinson, 77, of McGehee, AR passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was born on December 7, 1940 in Shreveport, LA to the late Andrew Lafete and Leona Cooper Robinson. Jordan received his Master’s Degree in Microbiology at the University of South Louisiana. He owned and operated Robinson Fish Farm and Positive Image Photography. He also taught Microbiology for SEARK School of Nursing. He was an ordained deacon at First Baptist Church of McGehee, AR.and he was a member of Desha Lodge #643 F&AM.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Carla Riley Robinson; son, John Robinson and his wife Elizabeth of McGehee, AR; daughters, Jill Cingolani of Fayetteville, AR and Julie Potter and her husband Craig of Fayetteville, AR; grandchildren, Blakely Jordan Cingolani, Jessica Anderson and husband James, Genna Potter, Riley Robinson and Raegan Robinson; great-granddaughter, Ella James Anderson.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 7, 2018 at First Baptist Church in McGehee, AR with Rev. Rick Miller and Dr. Ed Balducci officiating. Burial will follow at Tillar Cemetery. Arrangements by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service.
