James Yelvington, 77, of McGehee, AR died November 28, 2013. James was born in Magnolia, AR on December 15, 1935 to the late William and Bennie Lee Sanders Yelvington. He graduated from McGehee High School and worked for Wells Lamont Glove Factory for 42 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Lee Yelvington and daughter, Joyce Ann Williams. Survivors include his granddaughter, Crystal (Tony) Chandler; great grandson, Porter Chandler; brother, Wesley Henry Yelvington of Piperton, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 30, 2013 at McGehee Cemetery with Rev. Mike Minton officiating.
