Lola Mae Lowery, 91, of Eudora, AR died Friday, September 30, 2016. Mrs. Lowery was born in Bassett, AR a daughter of the late James W. and Betty Dodson Edwards. She worked for the Eudora Garment Factory for over 35 years. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lola was a member of Eudora Baptist Church.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, her husband Shelby Lowery, Sr. and her son David Lowery.
Survivors include her son Shelby Lowery, Jr. and his wife Norma of Eudora, AR; daughter, Nelda Starkey and her husband Gary of Denham Springs, LA; grandchildren, Rodney Lowery, Tracy Lemoine, Shelby “Beau” Lowery and Sarah Starkey; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-2pm Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Eudora Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at 2pm at Eudora Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Tarver and Rev. Mike Mote officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora, AR.
