Thomas Henry Golden, 80, of Dermott, AR died Friday January 13, 2017. Tommy was born in Bland, MS January 3, 1937 to the late T.N. and Hattie Willis Golden. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and the U.S. Army National Guard before retiring. He worked for U.S. Gypsum Corporation in Greenville, MS for over forty years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Golden and his daughter, Michelle Golden.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Mary Frances New Golden of Dermott, AR; daughters, Lynda Lee Golden of Greenville, MS and Lisa Lee Kapis of College Station, TX; sons, John Lee of Irving, TX, Daniel Rodgers of Dermott, AR, and Jody Rodgers of Dallas, TX; sister, Helen Ann Aldridge of Indianola, MS; seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 20, 2017 at Bellaire Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating.
