Robert Donald Sanders, 82, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018. Robert was born in Rison, Arkansas on July 25, 1935 to the late Clifton and Eunice Poss Sanders. He worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad for over 40 years before retiring. Robert loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed watching sports and riding motorcycles.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Philip Scott Sanders. Survivors include his daughters, Stephanie (Jerry) Zeoli of St. Petersburg, FL and Cindy Evans of McGehee, AR; former wife and friend, Carolyn Sanders; grandchildren, Jennifer Nicolle Evans (BJ) Holloway, Sarah Pasterniak (Caleb) Burger and Tara Sanders Benson; great-grandchildren, Norah Burger, Autumn Murray, Jackson Holloway, Jagger Holloway, Christian Benson, Caitlyn Benson and Sophie Benson and many friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38105.
