Obituary for Parker Alan Gill

Parker Alan Gill, 20, of Little Rock, passed away August 29, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Paula Cunningham (James) of Little Rock; father, Chris Gill (Bridget) of McGehee; sisters, Lacy Gill of North Little Rock and Tyler Hogan (Eric); brother, Garrett Clavet (Cheyenne); grandparents, F. H. Gill (Harriet) of McGehee, Pat Buford of Little Rock, Jake and Starr Kemp of McGehee and Vicki Cunningham; nephew, Maxwell Voss of North Little Rock; and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Jimmy Lee Buford and Bob Cunningham and his uncle, Darren Gill.

Parker was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting of all kinds, collecting arrowheads, duck calling and playing the guitar. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people smile. He was compassionate, loving and generous. His ultimate gift was being an organ donor, helping to give life to others in need. Parker loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be Saturday, September 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Chris Kinzler. On Sunday, September 2 there will be a visitation from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee. Interment will follow at McGehee Cemetery at 3:30 p.m., with Rev. Reggie Russell officiating. Pallbearers are Garrett Clavet, Grant Gill, Dakota Young, Mitchell Wilson, Jack Beard, Will Ballard and Cody Enlow-Hunter Patterson.
