Barbara Sue Morgan, 47, of Arkansas City, AR passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was born April 16, 1971 in Shaw, MS to the late Danny and Minnie Bell Whatley Farris. Barbara loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Johnson, Debbie Johnson and Kathy Jo Farris; brothers, Wayne Whatley and Steve Farris; grandson, Christian Holley, Jr. Survivors include her husband, James Morgan of Arkansas City, AR; son, James (Heather) Farris of Hope, AR; daughters, Lacey Morgan of Arkansas City, AR and Magon Morgan of Arkansas City, AR; brothers, Thomas “Bud” Farris and Billy Dean Farris of Dewitt, AR; sister, Patricia Jones of Wayside, MS and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 pm Monday, September 17, 2018 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm following the visitation at Halley Cemetery.
