Obituary for James "Pete" Beegle
James “Pete” Beegle, 85, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. Pete was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on June 30, 1933 to the late George and Bessie Eads Beegle. He served in the United States Army. Pete was a member of Chicot Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Village, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Joan Beegle of McGehee, AR; son, Billy (Gloria) Beegle of Dyersburg, TN; daughter, Jane Tubbs of McGehee, AR; brother, Bob (Mary) Beegle of Berryville, AR; sisters, Carolyn (Allen) Holloway of Watson, AR and Jo Ann Beegle of Russellville, AR; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12-1 pm Monday, December 17, 2018 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral service will be at 1 pm at the funeral chapel with burial at Watson Cemetery.
