Obituary for Mary Lou White Henderson Akin
Mary Lou White Henderson Akin, 85, of McGehee, AR passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Mary Lou was born in Drew County, AR on August 24, 1933 to the late Virgil Levi and Velma Glennon White. She was a foster grandparent, a McGehee Hospital Auxiliary volunteer and was a member of the Presbyterian Women’s Association. Mary Lou was a member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church of McGehee, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her sons, Ricky Don (Sandy) Henderson of Columbia, MO, Randy Joe Henderson of McGehee, AR and Ronny Wayne (Sara) Henderson of McGehee, AR; daughter, Karen Jane (Dan) Latch of Heber Springs, AR; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 16 Section Cemetery in Drew County, AR with Rev. Charles Graham officiating. Celebration of Life service to follow at 2pm at First Presbyterian Church of McGehee, AR with Rev. Eddie Holt officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boys & Girls Club of McGehee, P.O. Box 495, McGehee, AR 71654.
