Obituary for Kathryn Lucille Hawkins
Kathryn Lucille Hawkins, 78, of Tillar, AR passed away Monday, March 25, 2019. She was born March 3, 1941 in Cedar Glades, Arkansas to the late William Raymond and Claralee Speer Gamble. Lucille was a wonderful cook and loved working crossword puzzles. She was a member of Amos Bayou Assembly of God Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Thomas James Sass. Survivors include her son, Terry (Juanita) James of Tillar, AR; daughter, Mary Sass of McGehee, AR; brother William (Ann) Gamble of Dumas, AR; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be 12-5pm Friday, March 29, 2019 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, AR. Graveside services will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Tillar Cemetery in Tillar, AR with Rev. Edward Plunkett officiating. Arrangements by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of McGehee, AR.
