Obituary for Mary Julia Steinheil
Mary Julia Steinheil, 98, of McGehee, AR passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019. She was born in Casa, AR to the late Robert “Bob” and Sally Lewis Harkins. Julia worked at Wal Mart and McGehee Industries for many years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and singing. She loved to hunt and fish.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, E.R. Steinheil; brother, Wesley Harkins; sister, Jewel McElwee.
Survivors include her son Richard Steinheil and his wife Linda Steinheil of Wagoner, OK; daughter, Joe Ann Burnett of Dermott, AR; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 am Monday, April 22, 2019 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Graveside funeral services will follow at 11 am at McArthur Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Allen officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Arkansas Hospice, 234 Hwy 425, Monticello, AR 71655.
