Obituary for Linda Jo Stewart Clary

Linda Jo Stewart Clary, 76, of Little Rock, AR formerly of McGehee, AR passed away Monday, July 8, 2019. Linda was born in Morrilton, AR a daughter of the late Joe Allen Jackson Moore and the late Gladys Potter Moore. She was a graduate of McGehee High School and went on to UCA (formerly AR State Teachers College in Conway, AR). Linda married the late Pete Stewart who passed away December 14, 1967. She married Ronnie Clary in 1971 who passed away June 11, 2011.
Linda was a banker for 27 years. Her passion was interior design. She was involved with designing the Beautification Garden and the Japanese Garden at the Japanese Museum in McGehee. She also designed gardens in her own yard. Her hobbies were playing bridge, reading and watching the Arkansas Razorbacks. Linda was involved in many civic organizations. She formerly served as President of the Beautification Committee, Chamber of Commerce President, Chairman of McGehee Housing Authority, served on the McGehee Hospital Foundation Board in the 1990’s and President of Presbyterian Women. Linda was an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. She deeply loved her church family. Bible study in her home was a life line when she could no longer get out. Faith in the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, love of family and friends were the inner core of Linda.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Wanda Moore Winemiller.
Survivors include daughters, Tiffany Stewart (Dee) Warrington of Little Rock, AR and Christian “Christy” (Steve) White of Star City, AR; sister Vinnie Moore Earp of New Freedom, PA; grandchildren, Justin Sims, Jordan Fowler, Pride Warrington, IV, Sydney Warrington, Lauren White and Ethan White; great-grandchild, Ellacyn Wall; two nieces and three nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of many friends, church family and her constant companion Jules, her Maltese. A brother by choice John (Susan) Potter. Sister by choice Pat Mangum.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm Saturday, August 3, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church in McGehee, AR with Rev. Terry Tallent officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall from 2:30-4 pm. Memorials may be made to Charles Graham Ministries, P.O.
