Margaret Ann Grimes, 64, of Dermott, Arkansas passed from this life to a better place on Wednesday, July, 24, 2019. Margaret was born in Dermott, Arkansas on October 1, 1954 to Edward William and Jean Harmon Grimes. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Louisiana State University at Monroe, LA. Margaret worked as a Lab Technician for 44 years. The last 23 years she worked at Lake Village Medical Clinic in Lake Village, AR. She enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Dermott, AR, where she was very active with (AWM) Adults Without Mates.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward “Ed” Grimes. Survivors include her mother, Jean Grimes of Dermott, AR; brother, Danny Grimes of Dermott, AR; sisters, Marcia (Ken) Rollins of Cantonment, FL and Terrie (Pat) Bevill of Houston, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2-3pm Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 pm at Dermott Cemetery in Dermott, AR with Reverends Bobby Franklin and Jody Gannaway officiating.
