Eunice Juanita Burchfield, 77, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at the McGehee Hospital. She was born April 2, 1942 in Desha County, AR to the late Marvin Bartlett and Dorothy Abbott Bartlett. Eunice worked at Wells Lamont Glove Factory for many years. Eunice loved Elvis Presley. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo on her phone, sewing and needlepoint. Eunice loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Burchfield; her brothers, Dave Bartlett and Bobby Joe Bartlett and her sister, Faye Bozeman. Survivors include her son, Carlton Dewayne (D.D.) Burchfield of McGehee, AR; daughters, Juanita Faye (Herschell) Ponder of McGehee, AR, Connie (Joe) Brooks of Lake Village, AR, Teresa Gail Lawson (Roy Rotten) of Portland, AR and Melissa Welch (Andrew Zeien) of McGehee, AR; brother, Russell Bartlett of West Plains, MO; 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 12:30-1:30 pm Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of McGehee, AR. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm at Tillar Cemetery in Tillar, AR with Rev. Dewayne Dennis officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service to help cover funeral expenses.
