Doris Sanders Jackson Fesler, 93, of Monticello, AR left this world to be with her Lord and Savior April 11, 2020 at JRMC in Pine Bluff, AR. She was born on August 2, 1926 in Oak Grove, LA. Doris married the love of her life Jim Jackson January 26, 1946. They went on to have five children. They lived in Lake Village, AR until Jim’s death in 1983. She later moved to Cedar Vale, Kansas in 1988 to be with her daughters and grandchildren.
In 1991 she married Lyman Fesler of Hewins, Kansas. They were happily married thirteen years until his death in 2002. She was a member of the Cedar Vale Kansas Church of Christ, and upon moving back to Arkansas in 2018 she attended Watson Assembly of God in Watson, AR.
Doris worked for a sewing factory in Lake Village, Arkansas for thirty years. She was a homemaker and she could do most anything she put her mind to do. She loved to fish, plant flowers, and play in the dirt, but the love of her life was her grandchildren, Charlie, Wyatt, and Jenny.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Jim Jackson and Lyman Fesler; daughters, Carol McLaughlin and Anita Utt; son, Ronnie Jackson; her parents, Monroe and Ethel Sanders; brothers, Rosco Sanders, James D. Sanders and Eufa D. Sanders; sister, Mildred Morphis.
She is survived by daughters, Norma Ragan (Mike) of Rohwer, Arkansas and Tammie Kelly of Cedar Vale, Kansas; grandchildren, Charlie Kelly (Amy) of Dexter, Kansas, Wyatt Kelly of Cedar Vale, Kansas and Jenny Kelly of Kansas City, Kansas; a grand dog, Chloe Ragan and one great-granddaughter Eva Rose Kelly; brother, Clifford Sanders of Hall Summit, Louisiana; a special adopted daughter, Margie Matthews (Richard) of North Little Rock, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews who she loved greatly; special friends Jolene Sanders and Connie McClurg.
Due to the Covid-19 virus there will be a private graveside service with the immediate family at Lake Providence Louisiana cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Grand Manor Assisted Living where she lived a short time, and the staff at Belle View Estates in Monticello, Arkansas for the excellent care she received while living there.
In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to Watson Assembly of God Church, P.O Box 109, Watson, Arkansas 71674, marked parking lot fund or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38105.

Doris was more than a friend she was family. She lived for years across from us. She was a very friendly, kind and loving person. She never seem to meet a stranger. Once she got to know you there was the bond.
“There is no one in this world like mamma Doris. She was a special woman and she will be with us always.”
“I always admired her caring and selfless nature. She was a true friend and someone who was always a pleasure to have around.” “Her kindness was contagious and her memory will live on forever.” “My deepest condolences to you and your family during this time. She was an amazing woman and she will truly be missed.” “I will always remember the special times she and I spent together. She was one of my closest and dearest friends. She will be missed.” Please remember that “A mother is with us always, first in her lifetime, then forever in our memory.”

Be Strong God will get you through.
Keep Praying
