George Clayton “Buddy” Keeling, 80, of McGehee, AR passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020. Buddy was born in McArthur, AR on August 3, 1939 to the late George W. and Myrtle Bryant Keeling. He worked as a mechanic for J.A. Riggs Tractor Company for thirty seven years. He loved hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Hydle Bell Keeling; daughter, Peggy Hogue; grandson, Christopher Patterson; great-granddaughter, Jasmine Lane; brothers, George Reddic Keeling, Jed Keeling and Donald Keeling; sisters, Mary Ann Sullivan, Sue Reginelli and Jean Lopez.

Survivors include his son, George Lowell Keeling and his wife Tammy of Harrisburg, AR; daughters, Dorothy Patterson of Benton, AR and Jean Lane and her husband Herbert Lane, Jr. of McGehee, AR. brothers, John Keeling of Harrison, AR, Jessie Keeling of Denton, TX and James Keeling of McArthur, AR; sisters, Hazel Carpenter of Little Rock, AR and Nona Moore of Plainview, AR; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12:30pm-1:30pm Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 at Keeling Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating.
