Cherry Frances Babin, 72, of North Little Rock, AR formerly of McGehee, AR passed away Thursday July 9, 2020. She was born in Dermott, AR on September 23, 1947 to the late W. L. and Billie Chennault Stanford. She was a graduate of McGehee High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Cherry was a former member of the Junior Auxiliary and she enjoyed needlepoint, decorating cakes, interior decorating and flower gardening. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of McGehee.

Survivors include her daughter Lana Craig and her husband Johnny from North Little Rock; sons
Alan Smith and his wife Mary from Little Rock, AR and Devin Smith of Fountain Hill, AR; sister, June Stanford of McGhee, AR; aunts, Margaret Phillips of Fountain Hill, AR and Pam Melton of Oklahoma City, OK. 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 13, 2020 at McGehee Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating.
