Obituary for Phyllis Ann Wash
Phyllis Ann Wash, 62, of McGehee, AR passed away Monday, August 17, 2020.
Phyllis was born in Dumas, Arkansas on January 10, 1958 to the late Murl Hallaway and Ruby Sass Hallaway. She was employed at Clearwater since 2011 and formerly worked at McGehee Industries. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with people. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond O. Wash; sister, Frankie Koonce and brother, James Allen Henson. Survivors include her daughters, Angela (Chris) Wells of Dermott, AR and Sarah Wash (Andrew Johnson) of McGehee, AR; mother-in-law, Dorothy Wash of McGehee, AR; brother-in-law, John Wash of Sheridan, AR; sisters Sylvia (Darrell) Wrobel of McGehee, AR and Murlene (Burt) Ellis of McGehee, AR; grandchildren, Carson Wells, McKinzie Wells and Aiden Johnson; niece, Amanda (J.D.) Turner and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, August 21, 2020 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating.
