Obituary for Robert Louis Howell, Sr.
Robert Louis Howell, Sr., 74, of Rohwer, Arkansas passed away October 7, 2020. He was born in Dermott, Arkansas on January 22, 1946 to the late Daniel William Howell and Helen Lee Landers Howell. Robert was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert was an avid coon hunter and enjoyed attending coon hunting field trials. He also enjoyed going to the horse races at Oaklawn Park. Robert loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Howell. Survivors include his son, Robert Louis Howell, Jr. and wife, Tammy of Dumas, AR; daughter, Robin Barnett and husband, Lee of Crossett, AR; sister, Carolyn Howell Poe Norvell of Rogers, AR; grandchildren, Daniel Howell, Dillon Howell, Avery Barnett and Dalton Barnett.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 pm Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 pm at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, AR with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating.
