Obituary for Margarette Hinton Hill
Margarette Hinton Hill died peacefully at home with loved ones on November 9, 2020. Margarette is survived by her daughters, Jayne Hill (Larry) and Tarncy Olivi (Robert), all of Lake Village, AR; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Hill; mother, Ina Greenwood Hinton (B-Ba); father, Earl Hinton; sisters, Louise Sammons, Jeri Lynn Bennett, Florence Durham and Kathryn Livingston.
In her last years she was lovingly cared for by her extended family, Shelia Brown, Ruby Porter, Sylvia Brown, Betty Adams and Sharron James, who gave her the ability to remain at home.
She loved her church and church family dearly. She was an active and dedicated member of Lakeside United Methodist Church where she sang beautifully in the choir for many years. She was one of the first members of the Civic Club and served the community by her work in several offices of the Chicot County Court House and the State Park.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Lake Village Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Ratliff officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all memorials be made to Lakeside United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 192, Lake Village, AR 71653.
