Obituary for Mollie Pearl Tipton
Mollie Pearl Tipton, 88, of Dermott, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Mollie was born in Dermott, Arkansas on April 13, 1932 to the late Robert and Katie Joiner. She was a member of Dermott Church of Christ.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin “Bo” Tipton. Survivors include her sons, Roger Dale Tipton of Ashdown, AR, Robert David Tipton of Dermott, AR and Roland Douglas Tipton of Hot Springs, AR; sisters, Bertha Mae Henry of Dermott, AR and Cavie Dean Bowden of Hamburg, AR; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Tipton had always requested a sunrise or sunset service, therefore a graveside memorial service will be held at sunset, 5:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Dermott Cemetery in Dermott, AR with Dwane Perry officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dermott Church of Christ, P. O. Box 663, Dermott, AR 71638.
