Obituary for Herman L. Harmon
Herman L. Harmon, Sr. 88, of Lake Village, AR passed away Tuesday March 23, 2021. Mr. Harmon was born in Portland, AR on August 3, 1932 to the late Sircy and Lillie Bell Ferguson Harmon.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and telling hunting stories. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of Family Worship Center.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Henry L. Harmon and Leon Harmon; sisters, Lois Harbin and Pauline Harmon.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Rosalyn Horton Harmon; sons, Herman L. “Sam” Harmon, Jr and his wife Mary of Virginia Beach, VA, Paul Harmon and his wife April of Benton, AR, Jonathan Harmon of Lake Village, AR and David Lamar Harmon of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Charlotte Meadows of Indianola, MS and Marion Rose “Pandy” Hackett of Leland, MS; brothers, Dean Harmon of Snyder, AR, James Harmon of Lake Village, AR, Troy Harmon of Lake Village, AR and David Harmon of Greenville, MS; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 1-2 pm Friday, March 26, 2021, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in Lake Village, AR. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm at the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Yandell officiating. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery.
