Donald Edwin Reeves, 62, of McGehee, AR passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at McGehee Hospital. He was born in Dermott, AR on July 13, 1958 to the late Erley Reeves and Alice Marie Brown Reeves. Donald formerly worked for J. A. Riggs Tractor Company and South Ark Equipment Company for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Reeves; sister, Carolyn Vargas; son Ricky Wilson.
Survivors include his wife of thirteen years Thelma Snow Reeves; son, Bryant Reeves of Texarkana, TX; daughters, Samantha Reeves of Idaho, Kristy (Shawn) Wylie of Monticello, AR, Kim (Chris) Carpenter of Dermott, AR and Shelley (Matt) Jollie of McGehee, AR; brother, Nickey Reeves of Banks, AR; sister, Abbey Darnell of Arkansas City, AR; brother-in-laws, Virgil Snow of McGehee, AR and Bart (Brenda) Snow of Owasso, OK; nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bud Banks officiating. Burial will follow at McArthur cemetery.
