Obituary for Edward Dee "JR" Lamb, Jr.
Edward Dee “JR” Lamb, Jr., 33, of Alma, AR passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 in Greenville, MS. He was born in Ft. Smith, AR on March 16, 1988 to Edward Dee Lamb and the late Dena Bruce Lamb. JR worked as a tug boat pilot for 13 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. JR never met a stranger and enjoyed being around people.
Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clara Mae Smith and Jay and Debbie Bruce. Survivors include his daughter, Harper Lamb of Daphne, AL; fiance, Brittany Raymond of Greenville, MS; father, Edward Lamb of Alma, AR; grandfather, Larry Don Smith of Mulberry, AR; brother, Eric Lamb of MS; sisters, Amber Khonesavanh of Van Buren, AR, Brittany Kosier of Van Buren, AR and Haley Hensley of Greenwood, AR; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 2-3pm Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Lake Village, AR. Funeral service will follow at 3:00pm at the church. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
