Mary Ellen Stringfellow, 72, of McGehee, AR passed away May 20, 2021. Mary was born in Wagoner, OK on September 21, 1948 to the late Joseph Randolph Potter and Ada Bell Haley Potter. Mary was a longtime resident of McGehee, AR where she was a hairdresser for many years. She enjoyed visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast and going to the horse races at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, AR.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Noel Bryce Stringfellow; sister, Sylvia Bogle; brothers, J.R. Potter, Marvin Potter, Herman Potter, Ted Potter and John Potter.
Survivors include her brothers, Donald Potter and his wife Joanne of Broken Arrow, OK and David Potter; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Potter of Fordyce, Carolyn Potter of Wagoner, OK and Carlene Potter of Bryant, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR.
