Obituary for Vera Louise (Morgan) Hart
Vera Louise (Morgan) Hart, age 88, of Dermott, Arkansas left her body and immediately entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Hart of Dermott, Arkansas; her parents, Winfred Augusta and Alice Louise Morgan; one sister, Eva Faye Amaya of Pueblo, Colorado and one brother, Winfred Augusta Morgan, Jr. of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Mark Hart and wife Brenda of Benton, Arkansas; two daughters, Lori Broadus and husband Barron of Spanish Fort, Alabama, and Amy Tormey and husband, Chris of Exton, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren: Garren, Grant, Morgan, Sarah, Maggie, Jack and Patrick; seven great grandchildren: Reece, Hayden, Emery, Rhett, Raegan, Margot, and Elijah; one sister, Sandra Justice and husband Ronnie of Dermott, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Vera Hart was a loving wife and mother having been married to Charles Hart for 55 years before his death in 2009. She was a devout member of Temple Baptist Church of Dermott, Arkansas where she served as a Sunday school teacher and had a passion for leading the church's efforts to support the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions and the Samaritan's International Relief Fund (Shoebox Outreach). She was a woman of many gifts. She was a nurse at Dermott Memorial Hospital and a talented seamstress who also owned the Hart's Fabric Shop in Dermott. Her selfless act of caring for her aging mother for many years did not go unnoticed. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed providing for family and friends. Needless to say, she had a true servant's heart and was a blessing to so many people.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be at Temple Baptist church in Dermott, Arkansas, on Wednesday, June 16 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm and funeral services will be at 1:30 pm at Temple Baptist Church, Dermott, Arkansas, with graveside service immediately following. Burial will be at the Dermott Cemetery, Dermott, Arkansas.
