Lydia Ann Morris Cowgill of Winchester, AR, age 72, passed away on June 27th, 2021. She was born November 2, 1948 to late parents Ruby and P.L. “Bo” Morris. She is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Onita Dean Cowgill of Conway, AR. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Sam Cowgill of Winchester, AR, her son David Cowgill of Conway, AR, her son Chris (Laurie) Cowgill of Spencer, MA, her brothers Percy (Dana) and Phillip (Patty) Morris, all of Tillar, AR, and five grandchildren: Carlie, Samantha, and David T. Cowgill, all of Conway, AR, and Zach and Catie Cowgill, of Spencer, MA. She was a graduate of Dumas high school in 1966, and she attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She worked as a teacher’s assistant in the Dumas school system for over 40 years. She loved to sing, play the piano, and spend time with all of her friends and family. She will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Graveside service will be held 10:00am Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, AR with Bro. Russ Jasper officiating.
