Obituary for Ricky James Dunnahoe

Ricky James Dunnahoe, 69, of Kelso, Arkansas, passed away August 2, 2021, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Ricky was born in Dermott, Arkansas, on August 2, 1952, to James C. “Jake” and Wilma Dunnahoe. He graduated from Desha Central High School in 1970 and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro for a couple of years.
Ricky was a lifetime farmer. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, spending time by the pond he built, and traveling around the country with his sister, Cathy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of McGehee, AR, and went on annual mission trips to Honduras with his church group. Ricky loved his community and was always quick to lend a helping hand.
Survivors include his daughter, Carrie (Ronnie) Provence of Morrow, AR; son, Chris (Brandy) Dunnahoe of Kelso, AR; sister, Cathy Dunn of Conway, AR; grandchildren, Ryan Provence, Jacey Provence, and Gabe Dunnahoe; nieces, Jacqueline Dunn of Jensen Beach, FL, and Christa (Stephen) Gray of San Antonio, TX; 6 great nieces and nephews (Jagger, Parker, Piper, Lucy, Lila and Sonny).
A visitation will be held 5-7pm Friday, August 6, 2021, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Kelso Baptist Church in Kelso, AR, with Rev. Ben White and Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Cemetery in Winchester, AR.
