Obituary for Dixie Wetzler Phillips

Dixie Wetzler Phillips, age 90, of Springdale, Arkansas went to be with her Savior and Lord on August 8, 2021. She was born January 25th, 1931, to the late Roy H. Wetzler and Marguerite Craft Wetzler. She retired from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture (ASCS- Chicot Co.) in 1988 and continued to work part time at Phillips Fence Co. Inc. in Lake Village until her move to Springdale in 2018.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Maxolle Daniel Phillips who died in January 1990 and her beloved brother Roy H. Wetzler, Jr. who died in June of 2016.
Dixie is survived by one daughter Alicia Phillips Tribble and son-in-law Perry Tribble of Springdale, Arkansas. Two beloved grandsons: Luke Perry Tribble and Paul Daniel Tribble of Springdale, Arkansas; Sister-in-law, Beverly Marks Wetzler of Houston, TX and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was an active member of the Lake Village Baptist Church for 70+ years and a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers for three years. Dixie was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
A private graveside service will be will be held at Lake Village Cemetery with Rev. Tim Chennault and Rev. Brian Wetzler officiating. The family will receive friends to celebrate her life at Lake Village Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 10:00-11:30am.
