Alton Lee Case, 79, of Bastrop, Louisiana, formerly of Arkansas City, AR passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born October 24, 1942 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late William Howard Case and Laura Lee Hobson Case. Alton worked for the Wildlife Management of Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for 36 years. He loved cooking, gardening and tending to his rabbits and chickens. He was a member of Arkansas City Methodist Church in Arkansas City, AR.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Case and brother, Marion Case. He is survived by his daughters, Carol (Bobby) Milholland of Dollarhill, AR and Donna (Mearl) Harper of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Myron Case of Arkansas City, AR, Clayton Case of Lake Village, AR and Ray Case of Arkansas City, AR; grandchildren, Bobby (Sondra) Milholland and Laura ( Chandler) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Addien Milholland, Aaron Milholland and John Chandler Thompson.
Visitation will be held at 1:30pm Thursday, March 10, 2022 at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, AR. Graveside service will follow at 2:00pm with Darlene King officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas City Methodist Church, P.O. Box 341, Arkansas City, AR 71630.
