William “Bill” Ralph Roberts, 87, of McGehee, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at his home. He was born July 22, 1934 in Three Creeks, Arkansas to the late Lewis Wade Roberts and Fannie Cottrell Roberts. Bill loved to fish, hunt, and play softball. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill was a member of Arkansas City Baptist Church.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jewell “Beth” Roberts. He is survived by his son, Scott (Leigh Ann) Roberts of Monticello, AR; daughters, JoBeth (Ted) Selby of Portland, AR and Libby Dodson of Wilmar, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Kathy Matthews Kolb of Lake Village, AR and Dottie Roberts of Pittsburg, MO; grandchildren, Roxanne Hoover, Michael (Suzanna) Dodson, Bailey (Samm) Golden, Will (Allie) Dodson, Billy (Angela) Roberts and Erin (Scott) Jones; great-grandchildren, Cayden Dodson, Addi Boothe, Maverick and Weston Golden, Ellis Jones, Makalyn Dodson and Aubrey Huante and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Arkansas City Baptist Church in Arkansas City, AR with Rev. Rick Miller officiating.
