Dorothy Nell Wash, 91, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022. She was born April 14, 1930 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late John Lee Bishop and Rosa Lee Bishop. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church in McGehee, AR.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Wash; son, Raymond Wash and grandson, Eric Lee Wash. Survivors include her son, John Edward Wash of Sheridan, AR; sisters, Velma Averett of McGehee, AR and Billy Jean Hawkins of Bridge City, TX; grandchildren, Angela Raye (Chris) Wells, Sarah Michelle Wash; great-grandchildren, Carson Wells, Aiden Johnson, McKinzie Wells, Kaylee Wash, Jacie Wash and Morgan Kaiser.
Visitation will be held at 11:30-12:30pm Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Graveside service will follow at 1:00pm at McGehee Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating.
