Rita Inez Johnson, 61, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at her home. Rita was born October 17, 1960 in Texas to the late Paul Wilson and Dorothy Thurman Wilson. She was a longtime pharmacy tech at Delta Drug in Dermott, AR. Rita was also a cook at Dermott Bar-b-que for several years. She enjoyed fishing and loved her dog “Baby Girl.” Rita loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Clark; sisters, Patricia Henry and Barbara Harris; brother, James Wilson. Survivors include her daughter, Stacy Maglothin of McGehee, AR; brother, Paul (Lisa) Wilson of Dermott, AR; grandchildren, Brianna Maglothin, Kiya Whitehead, Davion Clark and Trevion Whitehead.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Dermott Cemetery in Dermott, AR.
