Obituary for Alysia Sue King
Alysia Sue King, 59, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022. Alysia was born August 1, 1962 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late George Waldrup and Sue Ward Waldrup Gay. She enjoyed baking cakes. Alysia was “Lee Lee” to many children and you always knew she was present. She loved her family, especially her granddaughter.
Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her son, David King; grandparents, Ellis and Ozelle Waldrup and Johnny and Annie Ward. Survivors include her mother, Sue (Fred) Gay of Halley, AR; daughter, Heather (Daniel) Evans of Dermott, AR; brother, Robby (Pam) Waldrup of Collins, AR and granddaughter, Lyric Evans.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Halley Cemetery in Halley, AR with Rev. Roy Tidwell and Rev. Larry Donaldson officiating. Pallbearers will be Robby Waldrup, Jr., Derrick Waldrup, Franklin Maddox, Daniel Evans, Dylan Gustafason, Andrew Evans. Honorary pallbearer will be Jonanthan Waldrup.
