Obituary for Ralph Lester Jones
Ralph Lester Jones, 76, of Halley, AR passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at McGehee Hospital.
He was born in Dumas, AR on December 19, 1945 to the late Virgil and Ruth Jones. Ralph was a lifelong farmer and he served in the U.S Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and tinkering on old cars, trucks and four-wheelers. He also enjoyed watching old western movies. He was of the Baptist faith.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Shannon Jones; daughter, Amanda Kay Jones; brothers, Billy Jones, Bobby Jones and Carl Jones; sister, Jeanette Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Margo Peacock Jones; son Kevin (Misty) Jones of Dumas; sisters, Geneva Stodghill of Start, LA and Mildred Ann Whisnant of Sherwood, AR; grandchildren, Megan Rogers, Jordyn Jones, Konner Jones, Chrissy Taylor, Amanda Lemoine, Katelyn Jones and Scott Jones; five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June, 3, 2022 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Drew County with Ryan Rogers officiating.
