Richard Loyd Shambley, 73, of Rohwer, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at his home. He was born in Camden, Arkansas on October 8, 1948 to the late Lewis Faye Shambley and Allie Odell Hern Shambley. Richard was a longtime employee of Potlatch, which is now Clear Water and retired in 2002. He enjoyed bass fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. Richard loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Outdoor Church in McGehee, AR.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Beatty; granddaughter, Blaire Elizabeth Carlton and his nieces, Dee Stuart and Christie Mizell.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Shambley of Rohwer, AR; sons, Ricky Lewis Shambley (Tammy) of Dumas, AR and John Toma Carlton (Darcie) of Gulf Shores, AL; daughter, Heather Lynn White (Barry) of Pine Buff, AR; brother, Joe Shambley (Susan) of Ocean Springs, MS; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
