Janet Duncan Trigg, 68, of Dermott, Arkansas, passed away December 6, 2022. Janet was born February 18, 1954 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late JP Duncan and June Bailey Duncan. She worked with her husband, Tommy at several Arkansas schools. She formally was a paraprofessional at Dierks, AR. Janet worked with her husband at McGehee High School assisting him with the band, as well as the flag team. She enjoyed hiking and camping. Janet loved spending time with family and working with the kids at school. Janet was a member of Bellaire Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Duncan and John Paul Duncan and grandson, Kevin Scucchi. Her husband, Thomas Henry Trigg also passed away in the same automobile accident. Survivors include her sons, Ray (Jennifer) Scucchi of Delmar, CA and Bryan (Carolyn) Trigg of Denver, CO; daughters, Aleta Young of Dermott, AR and Amber Joy of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Jimmy (Debbie) Duncan of Dermott, AR; sister, Betty Morse of Dermott, AR; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 5:00-7:00pm Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the McGehee High School Band. Burial will be held at Dermott Cemetery in Dermott, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dermott Cemetery Fund, c/o Sue Jones, P.O. Box 324, Dermott, AR 71638 or your favorite charity.
