Edith Trantham Keeling, 84, of Montrose, Arkansas was born August 12th, 1938.
She died Friday, December 9th 2022, at her home in Montrose. Mrs. Edith was a native of Boydell, AR. She was a homemaker, avid collector of flea market antiques, and a proud connoisseur of her Beanie Babies. She was known for her fiery personality & giving heart. Mrs. Edith was a faithful baptist woman.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Gene Trantham Sr. & Jack Keeling; longtime friend, Frank Lawson; her parents George & Flossie Cotton; her son, George Bell Sr.; a grandson, Corey; and her beloved siblings - four brothers & four sisters.
She is survived by her children; Glenda Barnett of McGehee; Audrey Williams and husband Charles of Rohwer; Lisa Wilson and husband Paul of Dermott; Gene Trantham and wife Sharon of Fountain Hill, Shelia Kirkham and husband Donnie Carter of Boydell; Amber Morgan & husband Chris of McGehee; and over a hundred grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great-great grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Chappel, Jessie Dodson, Walter Dodson, William Dodson, Joshua Hannah, Jimmy Don Lawson, Caleb Miller, Christopher Morgan, Charles Williams.
Visitation will be held at 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday, December 16, 2022 at Snyder Cemetery in Snyder, AR with Chris Morgan, Sr. officiating.
